What Quality Standards do we Use?

The localization team follows the quality standards and best practices of the localization industry, such as:
  • The ISO 17100:2015 standard for translation services, which specifies the requirements for the core processes, resources, and other aspects of the localization service.
  • The LISA QA Model, which is a metric-based system for measuring and scoring the quality of the localized content.
  • The Localization Maturity Model (LMM), which is a framework for assessing and improving the maturity and performance of the localization organization.

The localization team also implements quality assurance processes and benchmarks, such as:
  • Pre-translation QA: The localization engineer checks the source files and resources for errors, inconsistencies, and compatibility issues before localization.
  • Post-translation QA: The localization QA specialist checks the localized files and resources for errors, inconsistencies, and compliance issues after localization.
  • Linguistic QA: The localization QA specialist checks the linguistic quality of the localized content, such as grammar, spelling, punctuation, terminology, and style.
  • Functional QA: The localization QA specialist checks the functional quality of the localized product or service, such as layout, navigation, and interaction.
  • Cultural QA: The localization QA specialist checks the cultural quality of the localized content, such as appropriateness, relevance, and sensitivity.

The localization team also welcomes feedback and suggestions from the stakeholder and the end-users to continuously improve the quality and satisfaction of the localization service.
